Light to view
From meeting James it came up that light and touch are a very important contribution to how he can see things, so with that I have produced some pieces that will be part of the A1 poster with this concept in mind.

Point of view
Firstly - Merry Christmas :)
For my current project for Why Not Associates there have been some developments. I want to show through my poster and publication, how James Harris (the person I meet for task set) sees thing with his visual impairment.
His eye conditions:
- coloboma of the optic nerve - left eye
- Glaucoma - left eye
- Retinal detachment s - left eye (re-attached with firstly gass then oil bubble)
- Complete blindness - right eye

Tactile Design
Design for the blind, this both the topic for my current graphic project and dissertation. For the project I have been set by 'Why Not Associates' I had to meet someone I would not perhaps meet in my everyday life. So I decided to meet someone blind / with a high impairment.
I meet two lovely people who both has a condition called Glaucoma along with blind in one eye, in the meeting I discovered things could be made a lot easier for them and so with both this project and my dissertation I plan to look into this and make people more aware.
